CPR Train Trestle Photo Exhibit
Date: June 23rd to August 31st
In recognition of the CPR Train Trestle's 100th Anniversary, the West Parry Sound District Museum is exhibiting historic and scenic photos from the Dave Thomas collection in the Lion's Room.

Blue Heaven - Adventures of the Group of Two
Date: Saturday June 28, 2008
Works by Heather Blake Dawkins and Claudia Elliott. Opening Reception June 28, 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Blue Heaven will run from June 28 until July 31, 2008.

1st Annual Heritage Day
Date: Saturday July 12, 2008
In celebrating fifteen momentous years of heritage protection and promotion in the West Parry Sound District, the West Parry Sound District Museum is hosting its First Annual Heritage Day Celebration on Saturday July 12th, 2008 from 10am to 4pm.
Heritage Day will feature live outdoor music and various community vendors including first nation crafts and folk art displays, food and more. Children will enjoy educational activities and old fashioned games such as potato sack and three legged races, bean bag tosses, scavenger hunts and more! Enjoy a delicious summer barbeque as well as the Museum Snack Bar will serve up some old fashioned favorites hosted by the Friends of the Museum.
Don’t miss this free admission fun filled day for the entire family. Join us at the WPSDM on Tower Hill and help us celebrate our heritage.

Paddling and Hiking Georgian Bay
Date: Saturday July 26th
Paddling and Hiking Georgian Bay on Saturday July 26th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Author Kas Stone will present a slide show about her travels on Georgian Bay. Kas will also be answering questions and signing copies of her book " Paddling and Hiking Georgian Bay". Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
